Rick Lopez MPT

I graduated with a degree in Business from California State University Long Beach.  After working in the business world for a few years and experiencing physical therapy first-hand following knee surgery, I decided to “change gears” and return to school, earning my Master’s Degree in physical therapy from New York Medical College in 2000.

I have a wide range of experience, from adolescent sports-related injuries to senior injuries and conditions, in hospital, home health and outpatient settings.   Additionally, I’ve completed numerous continuing education courses focusing on exercise and manual therapy techniques for the spine and extremities. I enjoy developing trusting relationships with my patients and designing custom programs.   I feel that every patient, regardless of his or her diagnosis, is unique and needs to be treated differently.

During my free time, I keep very active and enjoy snowboarding, hiking, scuba diving and surfing.
